I watched the Twilight Saga: Eclipse trailer on friday ( I'm totally in love with Youtube) and was totally engrossed in the trailer until  they showed Victoria. I watched it again and again and the more i watched the trailer the more I got annoyed.
Rob, Kris And Taylor look amazing Im totally glued to my seat but as soon as the new Victoria came across the screen, i lost it.
It just doesnt look right without Rachelle playing evil bloodsucker Victoria. Anyone else agree or disagree?
BTW: Im still goign to see the movies and will always remain a devotee to all things twilight, ijust want your opinion on seeing the new Victoria.

cheers peoples :)

Wow okay so the last post i made didn't save, not good! Well it was just ramblings on the new moon movie anyways.
I havent had much time to obsess about Twilight  related stuff lately cause i'ver been getting called into work something crazy. Now that things are starting to calm down I've been thinking about doing a short fic Carlisle related along the lines of his time with the Volturi.
If anyone has any ideas that could help me get started let me know?
cheers :)

Attention Everyone ..My Muse is Broken!

Okay, so my bestie[info] [info]burnkitty is evil!  I make this point because she has given me the fic challenge from hell.  A Dollhouse/Firefly xover and I have to keep banging my head on the desk in the hope that something pops in my head and I can actually write this thing.  Evil evil evil ....

This is all because I gave her a itty bitty fic challenge based on twilight. This difference being mine was nice challenge while hers is evilly filled with bittersweet revenge. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So far I have a small outline of a maybe plotline and that’s it. I might need to re-watch some firefly to get the imagination juices going..

Onto other news, I have to share awesome news about the totally mad genius Joss Whedon and his peeps winning the 2009 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class - Short-format Live-Action Entertainment Programs ( i had to look it up on wikipedia cause it was way to long to remember) with his tragic warped comedic musical creation "Doctor Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog”.

During the Emmy Award show the transmission was "interrupted" by a sketch ft. Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible and Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer that was totally hilarious.

Congrats Joss

I still want to steal Joss' brain if only for just one a day.

Cya :)

Well , this will be a short and sweet post cause I'm stuffed, tired, and have headache ... but get this....it feels good. Now before you think I've lost my marbles let me explain.

I went to work today! WORK! Paid work even!

I got a call from a plant nursery that i sometimes work for and was offered a couple of weeks work. It was so unexpected I dropped the Bloody phone. Oops!.
The work itself not so interesting just planting seedling trees into larger trays ...all day. But I like to work, i cannot stand not being occupied and when unemployment looms its ugly head as it does frequently cause plant nursery work is seasonal, i get bored crazy out of my mind & have to go searching for things to do like volunteer work or another training courses while i look for more work.

So yes I'm tired and all that jazz but today was a very good day!

Speaking of training courses,my other bit good news is that I got my midyear tafe transcript on Monday and I have officially completed 70% of my tafe course so keeping fingers crossed and if all goes well ....by the end of this year I'll be a qualified CSE3 Aged Care Nurse : ) I completed my block of 50+ hours on the job training in a nursing home in June and really loved it so Awesome i cannot wait!

Well, that's it.  I'm going to bed .
Love & Hugs : )

Okay so I know I’ve been off the radar for a while or I should say lurking not posting, but here I am.

As you can see by the banner I added, I have totally been sucked in by the Twilight craze so much that I have to put it into words “I LOVE IT!”

I read all the books one immediately after the other every single spare moment I had including when I should have been asleep. I love books that are an easy read, that can just suck you in and stephanie meyer did an awesome job.
I got to see the twilight movie at the cinema twice and i was really glad because the fist time was just after i'd read the first book so i was comparing it to the book all the way through so trhe second time i could just sit back and enjoy. I gotta say catherine hardwicke is a genious for tthe way she transfdormed the book into a movie.I dont think anyone could have done it better and I gotta admit the Rob Pattinson factor doesn’t hurt and he is the perfect Edward.
Yum!

And now I eagerly await any news about New Moon. I swear this is like an addiction cuz I always want more! I just watched a motorcycle scene with Kristen Stewart that looked good. I will have to add the link if I can remember the sight I saw it on.

As for actual life stuff, other than my sister and her partner visiting on the weekend from Bris,  there’s not a lot happening at the moment.
I have mostly spent the last week locked in a room to avoid distractions cuz of a bad habit I have of leaving assignments to the last minute.

Actually in an after thought there was one thing, I went and saw the new fast and the furious movie with one of my best buds burnkitty and have to say it was definitely WOW!  It was really awesome to see the originals do their stuff. I wont give anything away because I’d hate to spoil the plot.  Absolutely awesome! *****

I would have my fingers crossed to hope for a seqaul but they are taken up waiting for Vin Diesel to get back to the Chronicles of Riddick so I won’t hold my breath.  Still FATF4 was definitely a must see and more the once if you can get away with it.

Well that’s it for now. Hugs all around & I’ll catch you later!  :)

Wow, it's been awhile since I've done a proper post other than a quick quiz here or there  I’ve virtually been non-existent as far as the cyber universe is concerned.
Going MIA hasn't been intentional its just that i've been
stuck in "Studying, I have no social life world!"

A Funny thing I’ve noticed about this course I’m studying, I seem to be doing more work now as a Part time student at Tafe than when I was a full time Bach/Arts student at uni ... weird! oh well come July '09 and all will be done, complete, and finished.

I do have one bit of great news, that I paid my last payment for my car yesterday "YAY!" I own it! Yep! It's all mine I tell you!!!!  Ha ha ha!!!!!

...Low point follows...

Of course now I have no time to drive at least until I get the next three assignments under control.
Doesn't that suck?

I just wish I could control my motivation to study because I only seem to get the motivation to get things done late at night into early hours of the morning which if you have to get up for class at 7am is not that good.

As for what else I'm doing... Well I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to get a job, hitting the pavement ...i hopefully will find something especially for while Tafe is out over the summer holidays…anything would be good... connections please peoples.

Well I suppose I really should stop procrastinating and back to the books,
I hope you are all well, hugs and I’ll catch you later :)

Blood is Thicker, a Stargate: Atlantis fanfic  by T'Pring

This is a super cool general fic for stargate atlantis that I stumbled upon in fanfiction.net.  Without giving too much of the story away, the story links back to season 4 episode "Outcast" where back on earth we were introduced to Lt Col. Sheppards brother Dave .
In this story, all hell has broken loose and Dave is needed to come to the aid of his little brother in Atlantis.
I thoroughly enjoyed it so read it!
